Members are independent and school music teachers who work in Parker, Castle Rock, Elizabeth, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Littleton and Aurora. We have been providing students with exceptional local music education, enriching the community through public service performances and providing teacher development since 1995. 2024 DEMTA Festival!

Announcing DEMTA's 29th annual Festival! Our Festival will be held on May 4th, 2024 at Parker United Methodist Church in Parker.  We are so excited to welcome students to this annual adjudicated event.  Students who receive High Honors will be invited to perform at the Honors Concert on May 11th at Grace Baptist Church in Parker. This event is open to all students of DEMTA members.  Students of teachers who do not belong to DEMTA may participate for an additional fee.  Please review the handbook before registering and register here.  We look forward to your performance!

Logo Contest Winner

Congratulations to Grace Canny, student of Ann Alletto for winning the 2023 Logo Contest! Her design has been digitized and will be used in all programs this year. Good work, Grace!

2023 Scholarship Winners

A big CONGRATULATIONS to these amazingly, deserving students. Nominated by their teachers, these students wrote essays to apply for the Ava Villyard Scholarship, and won!
